1. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material. You are responsible for the Content that you post on or through the Service.

3. Intellectual Property and Course License

All courses, including videos, text, and downloadable materials, are the intellectual property of IT Lax. When you purchase a course, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access the content for your personal, non-commercial use. You are strictly prohibited from sharing, distributing, reselling, copying, or broadcasting the course materials in any way. Sharing your account access with others is also a violation of these terms.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the site for any purpose other than that for which we make the site available. The site may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

This section outlines how our application, shopichain, accesses, uses, stores, and shares user data obtained through Google's API services. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Accessed

To provide authentication and account creation functionalities, we use Google Sign-In. The specific types of Google user data our application accesses are limited to your basic profile information. This includes:

  • Name (full name)
  • Email Address
  • Profile Picture

We do not access any sensitive or restricted scope data.

Data Usage

The Google user data we access is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Account Creation and Management: We use your Google email address and name to create and manage your account within our application.
  • Personalization: Your name and profile picture are used to personalize your user experience within the application.

The data is not used for any other purpose, such as advertising or internal analytics, beyond what is necessary for the core, user-facing features of the application.

Data Storage

The Google user data (name, email, profile picture) is securely stored in our application's backend, which is managed by Supabase Auth. We retain this data only for as long as your account remains active with us. If you choose to delete your account, all associated Google user data is permanently and immediately removed from our systems.

Data Sharing

We do not share your Google user data with any third parties. The only exception is if we are required to do so to comply with applicable laws or a valid legal process.
